Today we learned a key Northeast Executive is leaving. That's not really news cause the smart ones started getting out 6 years ago ( hint: this one may not have been one of the smart ones). What is significant is where they are headed. A few left a couple years ago for start ups and for CVS. HOWEVER now they are leaving for.....wait for it.... AMAZON!!! The real question to be asked is why would Amazon want such a level of failed management. I won't speculate tonight. In the meantime all should consider spls stock ownership. Full disclosure, I fully divested years ago, so what I tell you has no personal financial impact. THIS DOG HAS FLEAS and each passing day proves my point.

Don't name names, bro. Site rules. They'll remove all your posts and block you.
So, who's leaving??
They will regret going to Amazon. I left Staples after 3 years as a tech sup to work for them. I left Amazon in less than a year in a half. They both have cons...no pros. Amazon is just a glorified sweatshop.
Yes, VS is the very definition of not smart.
"this one may not have been one of the smart ones" Hopefully it's VS.
Who?
Staples' and Office Depot's CEOs are both out. This is not because these companies are doing well or have any hope in the future. These guys are cashing in their portions and that's the biggest sign to the rest who are still invested. The writing is on the wall.
Amazon is buying their relationships.
They'll get tossed in the trash once Amazon owns all.
