Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Brian Krzanich has to be replaced from not coming up with any new chip advancements and for lay offs INTEL needs a CEO that can bring the next technology here faster and do way far better than Brian Krzanich.

I work for a competitor now and am laughing my a-- off at the circus that is Intel. Keep BK-Ing the company Brian. I need a new Porsche.

It won't happen due to cronyism and the only way his azz gets walked is the replacement of the BoD starting with Andy Bryant.

I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out many years from now that BK had a 'deal with the devil' that involved using a multi-billion dollar successful company to drive a social agenda, business, and everyone's jobs be damned. You get the impression sometimes that Jesse Jackson himself is hiding behind the curtain and tells him to get his a$$ out there and repeat the party mantra, or else.

Promoting BK to CEO was the worst decision ever made by the BoD. Company growth has declined do to poor decision making and technological failures. BK has tried to rescue the company by thinking he can create a market for bracelets and drones (whoopee Doo). Then he masks his failures behind Tranny restroom doors. Steve Jobs? NOT! Fool? YES!

"just results"... Made the 14nm schedule, made the 14nm yields, 10nm schedule, yields on target, 7nm on schedule! Dang the fruit company should have picked Intel for 14 and 10nm their parts would be rocking!

@J0tobolL-lvs The issue in TMG is in many ways even worse as the person running manufacturing never worked there and says things in every meeting proving it to his demoralized factory workers. The one running the whole show is no technologist and as such can't judge if the technologist have gone crazy, which BTW they have. The issue with 14nm, 10nm and 7nm is leadership in scaling has run the company off the cliff resulting in each successive technology coming later and delaying critical product learning and letting the rest of the industry to catch up.

I had a very very smart friend (smartest person I know--MENSA level) with 35-year industry track record who told me about 6 months after BK came in: "He will ride this company off the rails. I'm staying only as long as it is convenient and am selling all Intel stock now and reinvesting." Boy was that a right call.

@J0tovoL-akc. While I totally agree, you have posted this same phrase many times in many threads. We get it now..... Try a little creativity and take a rest from ctrl-c/ctrl-v.

@Kam- He is also horrifically bad at managing manufacturing organizations. Just look at his history. The NM site started a downward decline under his watch. TMG as a whole has lost its way under his leadership.

After getting rid of BK, there will need to be a purge of some of the people that came into power under his watch.

The first on my list would be the LTD manager who was responsible for the 14nm technology disaster. He was PROMOTED after the debacle. His power over TMG is at the root of a large number of horrifically bad factory business decisions with long-term consequences.

Problem is Intel is a technology company and BK has no clue to design/product or technology. He is just a hard working FSM factory monkey. The company is in dire times and desperately needs a brilliant leader. He will go down as ruining what was once a great company.

BK couldn't run a lemonade stand or lead water downhill if his life depended on it.

Top 50 rating for CEOs in Glassdoor is >92% ... BK is flunking at 60% (and still is much too high if you ask me, should be closer to 40%).

BK has ruin Intel. BK and HR lawyers setup a plan where managers, many of them not that good, setup people for a fall through SSL4. And they did this at a time we were told little or no pay raises, cut backs, and of course stocks were being cut back too. Of all the people who were ISP, more than 70% of those folks were quality folks. BK and HR Lawyers targeted these people because of their age and wage. That's just a simple fact. That destruction in loss of talent will impact Intel negatively for the next decade. This is the time for competitors to shine because BK is so stupid Andy "The Blind Buffoon" Bryant is just as dumb and should be fired. Then to allow BK to fire the "Workers" and hire 1 man for the wages he saved, Murthy...just plain dumb! It's time all executive staff are fired, and the board. The next CEO should come in from outside being as this piss poor leadership of Intel doesn't know how to groom "leadership". Perhaps someone from Apple or Facebook. One thing is for sure, BK needs to go!

We can only hope. Here is the Glassdoor CEO ratings: Most of these companies are in industries that are equal to or more competitive versus semiconductors.... BK will NEVER be CEO of anything again after he washes out of Intel.
