Bad behavior was permitted by management to boost shareholder confidence. Great company with a great idea, but poor execution. All of the wrong successes were celebrated and all of the wrong people were promoted. I think that Lyndon Rive was sold snake oil by Hayes Barnard who ran the sales department into the ground. They cut pay for newly hired reps by 40% and took away the stock options and wonder why people lie to the customers to get them to sign. If you pay peanuts you get monkeys, and it's a circus around there! I'm glad I got out when I did! However, if you are the girlfriend of one of Cody Stein's college frat brothers your pay is automatically bumped to Senior pay, promoted to RSM, until everyone finds out you are a joke then get shuffled over to recruiting... nepotism reigns when people don't separate your work and home life. All the changes they made had a detrimental effect on the business, but they didn't acknowledge their failures, just made more changes making the customer experience even worse.

I've been watching this train wreck in slow motion for the last few months. From the moment they drastically cut our pay and started shoving the "This is such a blessing, gonna be so much better for us!!" Cheer down our thoats at every single weekly meeting... All this made breaking explicit company policies to snag a commission, standard operating procedure... Side note: you'd probably be pissed if you knew which group of people these "The Frat Brothers" were comprised of...
Favoritism was here no doubt, I believe Hayes is a good guy but who ever made the decision to hire quantity and not stick to quality is to blame for such a dumb yet catastrophic event and to see management agree with that decision was like.... What the f---?
