CSC will lay off 2/3 of it's workforce to prepare for the merger with HPES. Then once the companies merge there will be more layoffs. By the time it is finished there will be few if any jobs left in the US.

Couldn't agree more, CSC will work you to death with no pay increase. I was actually told to be thankful I have a job.
CSC has already restructured most of their business. There is not a lot of overlap with CSC except in HR, Accounting, etc. HPE has yet to receive their Mike Lawrie haircut. Expect huge cuts to underperforming pieces of business and a fire sale to make the numbers short term.
Then expect round after round of layoff's after that. I would expect 30-50000 HPE people will not be working for HPE in 12 months. Probably 10000 CSC people will leave or be layed off.
CSC has a rich history of offshoring and abusing it's staff. Do not expect huge amounts of new works or contracts in the future. That is not how things work.
If you got a raise in the last 5 years it will be your last.
Sorry to bring the doom and gloom, but this is reality in CSC with Lawrie and cronies at the helm.
