It is about time!!!! Long Overdue!
A little birdie said R&D group will loose someone big this week. We will miss you GP.
It is Monday, August 1st. Get ready! If you are not on this list, you will be on the next one, NO ONE is safe!
Its ramping up. Managers are walking around looking for offices of certain people today. The list is out my friends! Next week is D day. I suspect august 1st.

Can anyone tell me what Pferdehirt has done for this company? It seems he is complicit is the down call of FMC. The next round of layoffs should start with this idiot. Walk him out the f**kin door!!! This move will save the jobs of 50 average employees.

We all know that the layoffs are coming and knowing when doesn't make it any easier! But why not start at the top? We are so top heavy. Why do we need all the ones at the top since everyone at the bottom is getting laid off?

Layoffs will continue until plant sites close completely. There is no real sign of oil rebounding right now.
You can basically count on monthly layoffs at least through the end of the year. They always do them at the beginning of the month - usually within the first two weeks so you can keep your insurance for as long as possible after being RIF-ed. Rarely on a Monday or a Friday. Everyone should stop with the dramatic shock and awe every time there is a layoff. Oil is at $45 and FMC is in oil & gas. It's not rocket science and if you ARE shocked every time there is a layoff, you're not the sharpest tool in the shed.
