Thread regarding JDA Software Group Inc. layoffs

2016 and the layoffs continue

2016 and JDA's U.S. workforce is still being downsized. I think it's because of Moody's downgrade and the amount of debt they have coming due. So, they just kill off jobs and offshore the rest. God help their customers.

What a horrible place to work . Bal D has no idea and surrounded himself with clueless leaders . They want everything done in India and just create a really bad working atmosphere that the dictator Salil J manages it like a concentration camp. It use to be a good place to work when Hamish Brewer was CEO he was the only person who could have turned this company around.

Unreal how they could destroy a well performing company. The exec team and CEO have no idea and just try and manage the company by spreadsheet . The CEO was laid off from the only real job he had at AON . They are riddled with debt yet still continue to lose market share. As for the corruption in the COE. What a shame I'm sure NMC are regr ting their decision to invest and black stone have not yet realised what a mess they have just invested in.

I was part of that layoff too. Not sure what will happen after Honeywell acquires them.

Yup.I was part of that layoff group. JDA is inept at producing their own software and doesnt have the funds to buy other companies any more. The "Plan To Deliver" message is total bullshit, they simply plan to bill and put out third-rate software as they've always done.

They continue to layoff US staff and outsource and rely more and more on their Indian and other overseas teams, with the typical downturn in quality and communication that comes hand-in-hand with that.

The management team wants employees to give real feedback on the company performance but sadly is too inept (or simply to complacent) to care about the results and the continuing decline in morale.
