What's next to be cut or outsourced? Anyone have any predictions on what area of the business is going away? It's clear from what I've seen that it's not going to be pretty in a few weeks.

If a core function like that gets outsourced, the end really is coming. That said, a job in hand is better than not having a job. If company provides what they owe you - your pay, benefits, and a professional environment - stay if you like what you do, or look for something else. I didn't plan to look now, but now I must. I would never bitterly claim personal betrayal - it is a job not a family. And most corporations are essentially the same in terms of dumb structure, poor cross team communication, no useful training and clueless out of touch leadership.
