Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

IS IT ME OR ARE THE STAPLES MEDIA ADDS INDICATIVE OF ITS DEMISE?

I don't know about you, but whoever Staples is paying for their TV, radio and other produced adds is ripping off the company, what a shock! The advertisements are sophomoric humor, corny, lend no credence to the business community, and make associates look like little cutie pies who are bumbling fools. Nice impression to give the business and professional community you NEED to survive. Trust me no one in business, a professional, or work from home entrepeneur give a rat's turd about the fact notebooks are 50 cents limit of 30. Just another sign of how FAR Staples has gone from core to try and survive on fake quick dollars. Ironic these adds have been consistent with Staples shrinking brick and mortar market share. Just another moronic decision made by an upper management associate who has NO CLUE what they are doing. Continue the slow death Staples, maybe ripping a band aid would be the best way to expose the infection that consumes this company.

Every year Bts gets slower. Lines were down drastically last year and I expect it to be worse this year,

The problem is, the fewer customers there are the more BS we have to hear from corp.

And if some exec or rvp gets the idea to visit my store on peak days this year like they did last year, there are going to be problems. Demos ' "bus tour" was just an ego trip for him. At least he is gone and fat Otis is out west this year.

Execs - if you're not going to help then just stay the fvck away from stores this BTS season. You are just a distraction.

Much better bts deals elsewhere. Not shopping for my kids this year at this store.

BTS is early in GA. Usually the first week of August. Also there are a lot of tax free weekends in many states. However, the commercials make you wonder why anyone would ever shop there to begin with.

The ads s---, and they do make the employees look like idiots. They also suggest delivery is available from the store, rather than third party courier. It is to damn early to be advertising for BTS.

Another thing that's indicative is how little Staples' workforce cares about anything that happens with Staples. They might complain but overall they either deal with it or leave. There's nothing left at Staples, everyone there knows it and they know they have no value. Good night Staples.
