Just heard our GM Scott Johns is out of here August 1st!!! Good Luck Glendale hes a real gem. If we are lucky his sidekick hr manager will go with him.

Having worked in corporate retail prior to coming to Cabela's let me assure you "I don't know why you're all celebrating" that just because corporate hands down horrible mandates does NOT mean that your GM should be a useless a$$hat who pisses all over his employees no matter how hard they try and disappears for long lunches with the head of HR when they are supposedly working. Maybe the next GM in Hamburg will be worse, hard to imagine, or maybe they will be better, we won't know until the newbie is announced. Sure won't hurt morale to see Scott Johns out the door, only watching him get truly canned could be better than knowing he's someone else's problem now. Treating employees like they are beneath you and refusing to lend a hand while your outfitters drown under corporate mandates is all on Scott, good luck to whomever ends up with him, they are gonna need it.
I don't why you are all celebrating. Nothing is going to change with a new GM. You need to realize all the things you are all complaining about originate at the corporate level. It's nothing they have control of at the store. Wait til you get a new GM. You be back here a few days later with the same old complaints. If you are all so miserable why don't you leave. I hear Lowe's is hiring.

You are all idiots. He is a good man. He has tried all to please everyone in this store. You won't be happy with any GM. I hope the next GM is so strict he drives all the cry baby's out the store. Can't wait for it.
