@In8bmFY-2owm, I understand your fears and concerns. It's sad to see how Devry took a similar path as other for-profit "zombie colleges."

It didn't have to go this way.
I'm not sure many students will get justice soon. Most students at Everest (Corinthian Colleges) still haven't gotten justice. And there are others at the Art Institutes, ITT Tech, and other schools who also have't gotten justice.
It wasn't easy for one student I know in "Deceived By Devry" to even graduate--they kept on pulling stunts to make her take "just one more class." Her mother reached out to me and Devry finally relented.
I understand why that post was vague and general. If his/her location is anything like mine, the staff all need to put on a fake happy face and fly under the radar as much as possible.
I'm pretty sure that every employee at my location reads this board because it has come up in conversation so many times. If local management is reading it too then we can't be specific about our examples because they might figure out who we are. A loyal, longtime employee got fired recently because the new management decided to gradually build an exaggerated case against her. Another long-timer was practically bullied into resigning this month. So I totally understand the need to generalize and not paint a target on yourself. It doesn't mean the person is wrong, just wisely cautious.
What area do you work in at Devry? Cuz you speak in such generalities it's not funny
The problem is that the membership in the group on Facebook is publicly visible. With management on the prowl looking for any reason to fire someone, joining the group wouldn't be a wise move until one is really ready to abandon ship.
If it helps, many of my colleagues and I are supportive of the group. In fact, we were just discussing it yesterday. We're also sick of seeing students and employees getting repeatedly screwed by DeVry. We're sick of the constant lies and doublespeak we get from management. We're sick of watching the student experience continually decline while we're expected to smile and make excuses for it. But we're powerless to do much about it without making ourselves the next target. We hope they (and all of us) find justice soon.
How were people deceived again?? By posting reports that students submitted?
