Another 6,500 to be layed off at Seagate by end of financial year 2017. This brings the total to over 8000. There Will be more at WDC and it will be in the thousands.

WD has been laying off small groups at a time. I have not seen a big lay off ( thousands) in the last couple of years.

Will that include SanDisk employees? Should we be expecting layoffs over there too?
