Is it just me or is State Street becoming more like a men's locker room and "old boys club" than a diversified place of work where effort and ability thrive and succeed?

"Care to explain to me how an "old boys club" is a bad thing? It seems to me that after State Street started forcing diversity down everyone's throat about 12-15 years ago is when the place started to go to sh--otally agree with this. Half the people on my team - I cannot even understand.
Yep I seen the pets be given the easiest assignments to do, never having to work the weekends or holidays.

I agree with that comment. So many examples where bosses protect their favorites. The VP and SVP ranks are full of examples of this. In my view so many talented and hard working people at all levels were passed over for promotion or let go because a favorite / protected pet worker is kept on instead.
The real problem is having the bosses protect their favorite pet workers. People who should have
been fired years ago. Having bosses give out promotions to their favorite pets.
There was a time when raises, bonuses and promotions were based on your job skill not how
well the bosses liked you
