Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

State Street Locker Room Culture

Is it just me or is State Street becoming more like a men's locker room and "old boys club" than a diversified place of work where effort and ability thrive and succeed?

Yep I seen the pets be given the easiest assignments to do, never having to work the weekends or holidays.

Yes the great life of being a boss's pet

I agree with that comment. So many examples where bosses protect their favorites. The VP and SVP ranks are full of examples of this. In my view so many talented and hard working people at all levels were passed over for promotion or let go because a favorite / protected pet worker is kept on instead.

The real problem is having the bosses protect their favorite pet workers. People who should have

been fired years ago. Having bosses give out promotions to their favorite pets.

There was a time when raises, bonuses and promotions were based on your job skill not how

well the bosses liked you
