To me I think if the IRS turned over rocks on their foreign tax liabilities you'd see some execs heading to jail.

As for wrongful termination I don't see a case since the company is at will in Texas anyway. Have they let go of the wrong people? Absolutely.

Bribes abroad? Never saw it personally, but I wouldn't doubt it. Follow the money and see where it goes. With todays auditing systems it would turn up fast if money was missing and used for bribes. I don't know how companies do business in the most corrupt countries on Earth and pay nothing in bribes. Sounds like that is exactly what FMC was doing in this particular case. They probably thought it could be justified if they had their terms and sentences arranged correctly and called the bribe something else. If you are getting held up for bribes at the airport then I can assume the same countries are asking for things at customs and in contract meetings.

Ditto on the hypo tax.....the guy from FMC cited in the bribery article disappeared from the FMC Outlook contacts about 2 days after that article was published.

They need to investigate FMC and Deloitte on hypo tax. They took our money but never gave us a receipt for it. They stole it.

this is regarding FMC's alleged involvement in the Unaoil bribery racket that involved most big oil players for several years. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/unaoil-bribery-scandal-corruption_us_56fa2b06e4b014d3fe2408b9
