All ready started advertising for backfilling and rehiring, 13 open positions on web site. Total waste of time, money and resources, lot more effective and ethical to call back let go employees to fill the open positions, par for the course for this management.

Our organization is seeking an engineer to join our talented workforce. The role of an asset integrity engineer is to assist continued implementation and improvement of the Williams Integrity Management Program to insure continued performance of all Williams’ assets in the Atlantic-Gulf Operation Area. The Asset Integrity Engineer will support Williams Pipeline Integrity Management Program as related to 49CFR 192 subpart O requirements and ASME B31.8S standards. The engineer must be able to assist with and perform the duties required by the Williams Integrity Management Plan and Williams Operating &Maintenance Manual. The engineer will also lead Division ILI engineers with asset integrity requirements of Williams Integrity Management Program. Additional responsibilities may include functioning as main point of contact on software development projects with other Williams’ departments and/or outside organizations.

true, they should have two lists, ones that are worth rehiring and others that are out of luck. I am not recommending that they bring back everyone. I don't think they should be hiring so quickly, after firing 10% of the company, if I was the ceo I would not allow it, except for some very unusual conditions. I can see bringing in some interns to fill some entry level positions and perhaps a few highly specialized jobs, but not this type of position that is advertised.
