It's pretty much true. It's almost a free-for-all at online with massive lackluster training and then let loose to work on processes that they still don't know how to do well. Mistakes all over the place and processes falling behind. A lot of locations look to online for guidance now and online colleagues have little information trickling down from above to give them. Its a huge mess but management just goes on its merry little way.

CCN has had its own layoffs too so people should not assume it's a safe landing either. When the numbers drop they will be in the same boat unless CCN pulls out of DEG.

I work with online and I can tell you first hand most people are trying to go to chamberlain and or leave the company. Mangement is having them so many many different tasks for different teams with no training or guidance

Centralized services takes forever because they have had a series of layoffs and people leaving at DOS so they are very understaffed. Those who are left are being crosstrained at breakneck speed and thrown out to do the cases with the "check the policy" as the only help from managers. It doesn't help that some teams are doing work for Devry, Keller, and CCN with CCN of course being the priority over all others. It's the golden child right now...

It's a giant cluster and people are looking to leave there too. Management keeps saying DOS is the safest place to be with most things being centralized. But that song has been heard several times before and there have been several layoffs so no one is truly safe. I think most people are just hanging on till they find a better job and then jumping ship. I'd love to see engagement scores now.

It's true. We do not have enough people left to keep the campus running. We are told to rely on visiting professors though none are available who have the specialized qualifications we need. We are told to use the centralized services that replaced our deans and registrars, but they take forever to get things done and often make mistakes which take even longer to correct. All of the efficient, streamlined processes we had are gone and replaced with cumbersome, beaurocratic ones that we are all still trying to learn. Full time faculty and staff are all severely overburdened to the point of defeat. And through it all, we're supposed to smile and make students believe that everything is fine, though they clearly know it isn't. Just try to get tutoring help in a senior level technical course and you'll figure out how hard it is to get time with the one single professor in the entire region who is qualified to help you. Students deserve to know what to expect before they ever enroll, but who would warn them, and how?

We at my campus have the same question -- when will it end? We know the end has to be very, very near, but it's hard to plan your next career move without knowing when they will let you go. So that's why we are quitting. It's the only way to take control of our future. We know leaving it in DeVry's hands is just plain stupid. Most if not all of us are actively looking to leave before DeVry makes the decision for us.

I would 't expect it to end soon.

DeVry is sitting their July class this week and I hear it is another train wreck! Seriously, why would anyone go to DeVry at this point? Reputation of the school is terrible, tuition is outlandishly overpriced, career services numbers have been falsified and inflated, staff has been reduced to the point where students have no one to go to for help.

DeVry is a corrupt low energy school at this point.
