Thread regarding Williams Cos. layoffs

Wouldn't it be interesting if the BoD changes led to CIC?

Uhhh...keep dreaming. A few new board members is not change of control. Change of control is another company buying Williams (and not the roll-up of WPZ either).

Could that actually happen? I thought the legal jargon made it sound as though the payout of any additional severance checks for the severed employees was directly linked to a merger with ETE by 12/31/16. Though, I hope that you are right. At least that would be something. Anybody a porch deck lawyer?

Is this possible that this would technically be a CIC, thus triggering the additional severance checks?

I thought if it had anything to do Williams corporate it most likely stood for Chronic Idiopathic Constipation.

Please pardon my acronym ignorance - what CIC are you referring to? Thanks.
