Thread regarding Marathon Oil Corp. layoffs

The Lee Tillman Speedway

Was visiting a friend in The Woodlands Saturday when a beautiful gray & red Ferrari came by, driven like a bat out of Hell. It came by so fast, bobbing and weaving through the traffic that I did not think to get the license. But, with virtual certainty, it was driven by none other than Lee Tillman. Unfortunately, he was not wearing his "big boy racing outfit," nor were all his supplicants shamelessly applauding his "I wanna be a race car driver when I grow up uniform."

No, he was driving on a public road, far in excess of the speed limit, and dodging between cars as if he were in the Daytona 500.

Kathy, can you take the obnoxious, condescending attitude for which you are widely known UPSTAIRS (for a change) and inform Lee that the Woodlands Parkway is not the Lee Tillman Speedway and that, if the rest of us can be fired for talking on a cell phone while driving, he can obey the laws while HE is driving? If you are afraid to transmit the message yourself, just get one of your milk toast, bend with the breeze political HES managers, or Mr. "I can carry a grudge" Kalisek to pass it on for you.

Sadly, I was in my old truck, rather than my car (which has a video cam), or I would have taken a video of his absurd and illegal behavior. If but he could have been seen by a cop, the officer would have had every right to cuff him and take him in for putting everyone else's life at risk.

Why should names not be used?

Maybe he / she is bitter; don't know. Oh, BTW, Brave One, who are you?

It's easy to refute this post. Simply ask Lee if it were he driving down the Woodlands Parkway in a new car as described in the post around midday on Saturday. If he says no, end of story, as I agree with you, Brave One, that, absent information to the contrary, his word should be sufficient that he was 'not the culprit.'

Also, good point. Names should not be used.

Bitter much?!? Because you say so, guess State Troopers should be summoned to his door and arrest him on your word! If you are so confident it was him, why don't you take off your coward's uniform and identify yourself on here??? Same to all the cowards that post anonymous BS calling out fellow workers (and human beings) by name! Now go back to work for us shareholders although based on your post, guessing you aren't generating much in the way of value anyway!

Don't you realize that you were in the wrong place as the pace car passed you? Lee had Marathon purchase that part of the highway so he could show off what Marathon purchased for him with a mere 5 position reductions. Sometimes we don't see the big picture......
