There are people here at el segundo who can go and not be missed. Too many that are illiterate (literally) and have been employed getting high wages for 20+ years and are dumb from weed and alcohol. We can smell it on them and are amazed management has put up with it. We're glad they're on the way out and have talked about them for years and they remain. These are the people building those expensive satellite's. Amazing.

I received a layoff notice, the department is being "reorganized".... being replaced with a younger "Level1". Last day is end of September...
Last day for one group was 7/22/16. I just got a WARN and last day is 9/23/16.
So the people who've already received a notice will be working until 07/22/16?
That is what I thought at first, but this rumor I heard in June was about WARNs on 7/22 with last day in Sept. I haven't heard anything else since, so I bet you are right.
That's the last working day for those who received a notice in May.
