Thread regarding Zenith Education Group layoffs

The plan is to get down to 7 to 9 schools. This plan has been in place for over a year.

If you are not at a scool with an executive director at the helm, you need to prepare for next steps. Your school will not be kept open. You are not deemed as viable. Largo, Columbus, Springfield, Plainfield and a few in Texas are on the clock so to speak. Executive Directors will be reduced in the long term. Only campus directors will remain and they will report to MO. There is no plan to re-engage schools outside of the 7 to 9. The aquisition and ongoing operations (closures) are simply about protecting Zenith's non profit status in years to come. Nothing in the plan centers on creating a premeir education resource.

If this site is not anonymous you will think the new executives would take action on all the blatant dirty laundry being posted rather than wait for the sh-- to hit the fan. Look at your turnover, look at your reports and really look into the enrollment practices. There are real liabilities and surely there will be students who will find these weaknesses and use them against the campuses.

There are a lot of secrets and hidden agendas that are not being talked about and a lot of people that work for Zenith and CCI (some of them are the same people) that know where the bones are buried.

Texas schools primarily Houston is in hot water for their enrollment practices, students are put in class without proof of graduation, they are being awarded scholarships without proper documentation and they have not completed financial aid. If you ask for needed POG's etc admissions "management " shut you down, you call HR and nothing is done. TWC is reviewing numerous complaints from personnel and students. A true sh-- show especially at the largest campus in Houston. People leaving left and right rampant favoritism allegations of sexual harassment , the list goes on and on.

"Trust us, if we could leave tomorrow we would." If you have no other option, then what are you complaining about?

Thank you to the leadership for being a bunch of spineless dicks. If you would have told all of the employees, this is the plan sorry we aren't going to make it and you will not have a job within 12-24 months, this situation might have been a bit more palpable. Instead, we live in constant fear every 90 days of losing our jobs. Trust us, if we could leave tomorrow we would.

Blairsville will be taught out and merged with Laramie. Can't keep going with 200 to 300 students.

WyoTech-Laramie is already merged into one modern building and scuttled a huge amount of debt and useless space and inching step by step back to profitability. Laramie administrators have been planning this for two years, even before the CCi sell off.
