I get employed. I am busy and I get paid well for what I do. I am no longer busy at all. I have not been busy at all for over a year. I still come to work everyday, but I have so little work to do that a part timer could my job in their part time. I still have a "job" and I still get paid very well. That is the Micron way.

Let's hope the new Ceo gets rid of a lot of management dead weight. It is long overdue.

The Lay offs are over for now. Let's think positive. Are there more lay offs coming? Of course! But that is the nature of the business. Micron has always and will always continue to lay off its lower paid employees. If you are an operator in any dept you should always be prepared to be laid off. If you are a higher paid employee no matter what your job is or how well you do it you are generally safe from lay offs. That's just the way it is. As Micron continues to fail meeting there new product deadlines, the possibility of lay offs continues to increase. Brace yourself.

Since when did "making sense" have anything to do with anything. The company has fallen short on raises time after time. Same old thing

After the current lay off which three people were let go from our area {one volunteered} we still have a warehouse of about thirty people with literally nothing to do. ALL and I mean ALL of the highest paid employees are still working maybe a total of about six hours a week for about roughly $50,000 a year. What did the lay off do? What problems did it solve? Three less people standing around doing nothing? What was the entire point in all of this. Those still left in that department "off site" are being paid by the company to do nothing! Not much forward thinking going on there ;what a joke!
