Thread regarding CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. layoffs

Every company has layoffs, but CBRE is among the most trustworthy

Honestly, in my experience CBRE tries very hard not to do layoffs - I'm sure mainly because they're expensive and disruptive. But we are subject to the real estate cycle, which can swing big at times, so some layoffs are to be expected. Haven't heard of many this year so far and we're more than halfway through.

Every company has layoffs, but CBRE is among the most trustworthy??? Whomever started this post must be from CBRE's public relations office. If you were laid off from CBRE, you know how much they don't care about you. Sorry CBRE, the facts are facts, you leave your people high and dry.... discard them with little or no support.

CBRE Trustworthy? Ask that question to all the people that have been laid off. If it were 6 to 12 months into the Virus situation, I could see making some cuts. But CBRE started laying people off in April of this year (2020). Their severance package doesn't offer much in salary and they cover no benefits. Worst severance offering to those who put lots of efforts to make corporate execs nice and wealthy. Mr. Sulentic, I ask you, where have you demonstated "Every day you are empowered and expected to be better."??? I will answer that question, you could have done a lot better helping your employees. "You are empowered" and you failed CBRE employees who were displaced".

They really don't care about lower mgmt. I don't know one person that has retired. Not too helpful when getting ahead. Must be part of click to get noticed. Tough place to work. Good luck.
