Any RIFs this week??

How about this week?
I've heard the assist 12th RIF affected managers in the 5,6 levels and about 50% of the were let go. The next action will impact more of the non-manager roles and people who work from home as they try to consolidate more positions into the pods and also Puerto Rico.
My advice is update your resumes.
"More RIFFS to come..." Is that a general comment or something you know?
Pay attention.... pay attention to what they are saying on the all hands meetings etc. Message is loud and clear, direction is to move labor to near/offshore. Never any mention about plans for us U.S. workers. My guess is there will be a few left to support the business, be customer facing and coordinate the near/offshore resources.
Save your money. It's almost the end of the month. I heard a couple vBlock/cloud positions were RIF'd but not sure if that was last Friday or earlier this week.
