Ridiculous way of handling situation by GM

So my DM wants us to send rewards sign ups to him every night, fine Ive been doing it every close. Last night I just forgot, simple. No big deal right, just send it in the morning. Well I opened and my GM was scheduled off today. The DM texted him that it wasnt sent, and all of a sudden my GM shows up at the store furious. He told me he came in to put the rewards in himself because I didnt do it last night. Like hes sweating and red, thought the dude was gonna take a heart attack he was so angry. Over rewards??? Come on dude its not the end of the world, nothing to get so mad over, its rewards fir crying out loud! He could of handled it better by just telling me over the phone to send it and then tell me to not let it happen again. Maybe im wrong?

Naw. You good. DM's cause so much unnecessary stress! Ive worked two summers back to back with a GM, one as an IS and this one as an Ops Sup. I know first hand, way too much stress....

Our Dm is John Rickert(?). He has always offered solutions, been reasonable and still made his requirements firm and had his moments of having to come down hard. But that's his job. I have never heard him be disrespectful and I understand it is his responsibility to do his job. Quite frankly, part of my motivating is to make him look good because he had established himself as a team player, a resourse. I would not make it with a dm like I hear about here. So I must mention this, the other side of the coin. I am a cps. Peace all

I was forced to apologize to my co-workers via email for a mistake I made. Was the most humiliating thing I ever had to do in my career!

I once was made by my DM to call my GM and tell her she is the worst GM in the district. It was embarrassing. She quit the next day.

You are not wrong. It's foolish and a waste of time. In today's world of computers can't they see how many new sign ups every store had done? Waste of time, and your GM is overreacting. Unnecessary stress. There are more important things to get done then those nightly emails to the execs sitting on their fat a$$ opening emails all day. Ridiculous. That's my opinion.
