Listen to idiots not make decisions.
Listen to new grads act like they know it all
Listen to videos of sr management trying to sell next big thing....look squirrel
Part 2
Answer questions fron our "stand alone" offices overseas
Drink to excess
Rinse
Repeat
Pretty bad when we have to request changes on projects because Fluor won't. Step 1 happened today.
Rework is endless. They won't let me do the work, I am supposed to check work out of Manila but the quality is poor. At the end we fix the really bad stuff and settle for the rest. The exciting part is I get to go to the field and fix the screw ups that get built. Overtime is great but stay away from the clients, they know they got screwed. Never more frustrated. It is a job and that's what I need right now. Gone as soon as market picks up. This outfit is not the same place I worked for 10 years ago. More managers than designers on most jobs!
