I was shocked and disappointed when I learned that the Henderson NV location of Everest was being run solely by a flunky ex high school admissions representative... Now, I have learned that not only have the director of career services and a co-conspirator been fired for illicit reasons, but the manager of student finance as well! These seem to be the two major areas of concern by the department of education as well as ACCSC. If this so called learning institution squeaks through the new accreditation process than I will for one, have lost complete faith in our education system. Mostly, I feel sad for all of the unsuspecting, targeted demographic that will probably enroll in this sham of a school.

The Everest Campus in Henderson has had the President's position (whatever the official title is now) filled for over a month by someone with a Doctorate degree and decades of experience in the field.
I'm wondering why the original poster would choose to make a blatantly false claim (only 7 days ago) about who is in charge of that campus.
It also tends to make some other claims in this thread rather suspect for knowingly following a blatant lie.
Believe me, there aren't any teams left at any of the Zenith campuses, Everest or WyoTech. I have never seen it so bad, everyone is out for themselves. With the constant RIFs and restructuring taking place every three months, no one feels safe. Everyone is in survival mode hoping to save themselves at the expense of others. Complaining, tattle telling, back stabbing, arguments, made up stories, you name it. It is worse than it ever was, even under CCi.
The illicit act the director of career services was fired for was because there was allocated between 1-2 hours of overtime a week for a minimal raise receiving $40,000-$50,000/year employees who worked far beyond their meager salaries; also allowed freedom of time for employees. When the team was questioned about it, the extern coordinator, a "close friend" never the less, fearing, like the Everest educated 2 faced coward he turned out to be, and the individual who gained the most money and time from this "illicit" activity confirmed to investigators the director would mess with people's time, sold out one of his other teammates, and then printed out pages of personal text messages between the coordinator and the rest of the team, including some others, which he told investigators made him feel him "uncomfortable..." After 2 years of participating in these texts? Or perhaps to save his job and move up to become a director of career services himself? Which he was never qualified for; not due to education, but simply because his leadership qualities and loyalties are undeveloped and below par.
Know your stories factually before you emotionally think you do from what some manager has told you.
The reason for the Henderson campus demise is simple; their educators produce the world collegiate products the industry can offer. Survey all employees from all these campuses and they will tell you the same. The current department chairs for criminal studies and business, which for 10 years was a major source of students, are completely unequipped failures who possess none of the requisite education or experience. Tthe chair for business/accounting has a court reporting degree, and the chair for criminal studies graduates paralegals who cannot even exhibit requisite skills to land a job and become laughing stocks; he claims that paralegals don't need to know how to formulate legal documents, they just need to know how to be told what to do. No kidding, that's was an actual statement from him. Not surprising when you understand that students in that school flirt for heir grades and show up for half their classes.
Oh, and Henderson employees, there are at least 4-5 people who squawk to management in order to position themselves for survival and I'm sure you know who they are. That's why you lost your student finance manger. You all are not any sort of a team; but you probably unfortunately already know it.
Finally, pay close attention, The operation is running down; take it from solid inside info, zenith never had any intention to remain open; just helping slow and minimize the loss for the DOE... That comes from a high leadership source in marketing; who was stunned to hear ECMC folks laughing at ideas to improve the colleges. You're welcome 😄
That information is easily accessible on the Everest Henderson location website; catalog . It states his education was from Everest... Worthless. Also names the director of career services that was terminated for illicit acts. Lastly, the financial aid manager who was also terminated .
Who is running Henderson?
5wav, sorry you were terminated. Maybe you can reaply for your job at Everest if they turn it around. I wouldn't keep my hopes up though.
Does this statement surprise anyone? Everest Schools are run by two different types of people, shady sales people and hopeless mopes that can't get a job elsewhere,
The shady sales people run an operation that can be at best considered predatory.
The mopes know nothing, but feel good go home at night telling their family they are a professor.
This combination is toxic.
It's some what fitting that a former Everest employee will have the same resume as a graduate. Worthless.
When you have a person in charge who has no regards for students satisfaction and who does not focus on her staff and only cares about a cold and fearful campus culture, this is what the results will be. She fires the people who have the proven skills to run all 3 of her schools and continues to manage by intimatdation. I don't understand why this company allows her to be in charge. She has fired or layer off anyone who she feels threatened by. She is the worst so call leader in have ever met. People walk around her campus in Southfield MI, scared to speak to each other because they fear they will be fired. How she got this job is beyond me, but she's losing 30 students a month, and firing qualified staff, replacing them with unqualified staff. She stays in her office all day, never coming out to make herself approachable to staff or students. Such an injustice being done at all of her schools at the students expense. She has the nerve to say, Students experience comes first, such a joke.
There needs to be a major change, not with staff or students, with her. How many students, and staff do we have to lose before this company looks at the management at the top!!!!!!!!!
My campus is managed by idiots. They do not manage or seem to care. They do NOT keep regular hours and often leave the campus without management. I am sure that it will catch up to them soon.
OP: if you have valid issues that you can evidence further or that can somehow be corroborated, I'd suggest that the morally-right thing to do is report them yourself to ACCSC: http://www.accsc.org/Contact-Us/Staff-Listing.aspx#Institutional-Review-and-Development
You can't reasonably expect others (including ACCSC) to know or uncover everything; and if you're unwilling to report issues you know would jeopardize a proper accreditation process, you shouldn't expect other to either.
