Online CJ going away without formal announcement?

I took a look today at the online degree programs advertised on everestonline.edu, and was surprised to see criminal justice not included: http://m.everestonline.edu/online-degrees

I have taught CJ as adjunct for a couple years (just before the CCi/ECMC transition), and I've never received any notice of these programs being taught out or discontinued, but this seems to evidence such (why would you not list on your site a program you're accepting new enrollments for?). Cathy Orazi doesn't share any intel in staff meetings relevant to this (I'm not sure if she doesn't know or chooses not to tell).

Am I misreading this? Anyone else see this differently?

I have a follow-up question regarding teach outs. My assumption would be that Admissions, Financial Aid, and perhaps some faculty would be immediately dismissed upon the announcement of a teach out, but what about other administration? Student Services would, I'd imagine, be retained until most, if not all the remaining students have completed the program. The fate of departments like Career Services is less clear to me. Theoretically, you could argue you'll need Career Services around until most of these grads are landing "jobs", but I doubt a school would continue to operate after the students finish with only a skeleton crew of career counselors. Does anyone from these departments, specifically Student and Career Services, have experience with teach-outs? If so, when were you given the proverbial walking papers?

I'm an online adjunct in the CJ Program. Before he was let go, Tramontana informed us that the CJ program was being discontinued, and was now in the process of "teach-out." It will only be a matter of months before most of the CJ instructors are finished, with the exception of a few stragglers needed to complete the teach-out for any remaining students. As is, classes are very small. Honestly, I think it's the right decision for Everest, as the success rate among CJ graduates is very low. I wish you all the best in finding bigger and better opportunities!

CJ died several years ago when they hired non law enforcement to run it, like Cathy. You can't have lawyers and paralegals run CJ. I watched as they got rid of all the best qualified cops and retired cops who taught and were left with liberal paralegals, probation officers, corrections, lawyers, etc. I left years ago when they did that.

C.O. is one of the bad Associate Deans that should have been fired a long time ago. She was a terrible boss and person. I never could trust her. She never told us what was really happening, so try and get the information elsewhere. As a leader, she was the worst I ever worked for.
