The main guy head guy of ITT Technical Institute use to be part of Enron scams, he scam money from student and the government. The accreditation from that school is invalid. It is a paper mill with no backing from the Department of Education. I feel it for the students who at this point doesn't have a clue that the school lost their accreditation. He did what Martha Stewart did and stole millions of dollars of students, with his inside trading scams. If you are considering going to that school run far from them. They have all con men working for them in the admissions department, You are a number that is why you are given a number as a lead and that is the same number you will use for your application and student ID. They need to stop and I am surprise that the Government didn't do anything about them any sooner. More info to come and this is inside information that will astonish you.

Hey guy, I know you're just as pissed as the rest of us, but posting really incomprehensible run-on sentences in all caps while linking to months/years-old articles doesn't really contribute to the conversation here. It's just kind of annoying and cringeworthy.
Redundant rants/info posted here just comes off as mentally unstable white noise and I'd rather read these posts for scoops/info on what's currently happening at ITT on the inside with credible information.
We know the end of ITT is probably soon, but right now we're in a holding pattern/waiting phase. Big news may be on the horizon in the coming month or two, but at the moment there's not much to report. Yes, the issues are indeed "exposed" as you say, so nothing more to say on it other than what we're trying to piece together.
Exactly!!!! Furthermore, the anonymous poster, posting in CAPITAL LETTERS cannot even spell properly.... Are you getting paid to post? If so, whoever hired you should have tested your writing abilities, prior to hiring you. LOL!!!!

Two executives at ITT Educational Services, Inc. -- one of for-profit colleges' biggest operations with 57,000 students at more than 130 campuses in 38 states -- were charged with fraud yesterday by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Former CEO Kevin Modany and current CFO Daniel Fitzpatrick hid the company's poor performance from investors and covered up the financial fallout of two ITT-guaranteed student loan programs, according to the SEC complaint.
THIS DUDE WAS PART OF ENRON!
IT IS VERY REAR THAT THEY WILL RECOVERY FROM THIS. TOO MANY NEGATIVES HITS FROM THE ITT TECHNICAL INSTITUTE. AN ACCREDITING BODY IN FUTURE WILL HAVE A TO TAKE THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. IF WYO TECH COULD RECOVERY THEY WOULD. ONCE THE ACCREDITATION GONE THEN THEN THE NEXT THING TO GO IS FINANCIAL AID. HOPE THAT INFO HELPS.
GREAT QUESTION!
IF THEY DON'T GET AN ACCREDITING BODY TO TAKE THE PLACE OF ASICS IT WILL BE RAPID JUST LIKE WYO TECH AND REST OF THE SCAM SCHOOLS THAT ASICS SUPPORTED.
"Department of Education, which last week recommended shutting down ACICS and will have 90 days to decide the accreditor's fate. An appeal by the accreditor and lawsuits could follow."
I PERSONALLY TALK TO SOME OF WYO TECH EX REPS AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE A CLUE THAT TODAY IS GOING TO BE THEIR LAST DAY OF WORK AND THE DOOR ARE CLOSING.
Yes I have read that article, but we are still waiting for the outcome of the 90 day decision.

WASHINGTON -- The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools got closer to being terminated Thursday after the federal panel that oversees accrediting agencies voted to de-recognize the council, the largest national accreditor that oversees many for-profit colleges.
The National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity (NACIQI) soon will pass its decision back to the U.S. Department of Education, which last week recommended shutting down ACICS and will have 90 days to decide the accreditor's fate. An appeal by the accreditor and lawsuits could follow.
Once the decision is finalized, and if a court doesn't block it, the 245 colleges ACICS accredits, which enroll up to 800,000 students, would have 18 months to find a new accreditor. Depending who you ask, that process either will be a mad scramble or an easy transition, at least for colleges with solid track records.
Either way, the decision to nix an agency that last year served as a gatekeeper for $4.76 billion in federal financial aid is an extraordinary move. It also is the strongest signal yet that accreditors must tighten up their consumer protection role and focus on student achievement measures, such as job placement, graduation and loan repayment rates, or risk facing the wrath of Democrats, consumer groups and many other critics of the accreditation process.
GOOD QUESTION, I PREDICT THE NEXT LAYOFF AFTER THE FALL START IN SEPTEMBER. I KNOW BY NOW YOU MUST THAT ITT TECHNICAL INSTITUTE DID TRIM STAFF BY REDUCING THE ADMISSIONS DEPARTMENT TO 2 MASTER REPS AND (MOR) MANAGER OF RECRUITMENT AND THEY GOT RID OF OF ALL THE (DOR) DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS. SOME CAMPUSES MADE THEIR (DOR) TO A REPRESENTATIVE.
"ACICS IS NOT RECOGNIZED BY THE (DOE) DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION ANY MORE, ACICS IS IN TROUBLE WITH THE DOE AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. DO YOUR RESEARCH. THIS SCHOOL SHOULDN'T BE A CHOICE FOR ANY STUDENTS."
Do you have evidence of the "de-recognition" claim?
It doesn't help to lie when commenting on ITT Tech. The facts are bad enough.
ITT Tech programs are nationally accredited by ACICS. ACICS itself is recognized by DoE. DoE's recognition of ACICS hangs in the balance. ACICS accreditation of ITT Tech programs also hangs in the balance.
All that means that ITT Tech is not a great choice for an aspiring student and many of us would advocate that students look elsewhere for better choices.

This school is known to have worst schedule in the industry and lowest pay. I hope this blog will help somebody out there especially the senior's out of high school with big dreams. THEY WILL KILL YOUR DREAMS AND YOUR WILL OWE THAT STUDENT LOAN. DO NOT GO THERE!

What's the timeline of this shutdown?
THEY ARE CLOSING THE SCHOOL DOWN, SO IF YOU ARE A STUDENT THERE QUIT THE SCHOOL. BUT FIRST ASK FOR A LOAN FORGIVENESS PROGRAM DUE TO THE LOST OF THEIR ACCREDITATION'S. YOUR DEGREE IS NON TRANSFERABLE THEY ARE CONSIDERED AS VOCATIONAL CREDITS. ITT TECHNICAL INSTITUTE IS TRYING GET AS MANY STUDENT AS POSSIBLE TO ENROLL INTO THE FAKE PROGRAMS BEFORE THE ARE CLOSED FOREVER. THE SCHOOL CAN ONLY TEACH OUT THE STUDENTS THAT ARE CURRENTLY ENROLLED, BUT WHAT THE STUDENT DON'T KNOW IS THAT THE SCHOOL LOST THEIR ACCREDITATION. THE DEGREES YOU EARN AT ITT TECHNICAL INSTITUTE NOT ACCREDITED.

When do you predict the next wave of layoffs?

Federal panel recommends termination for ACICS, an accreditor of several notorious for-profits, while also tightening the screws on the American Bar Association and other agencies.

They say sh-- falls down hills. All the executive are all about the number of enrollments at ITT corporate. They hires ex con men to carry out their agenda, corporate corruption and miss leading commercials and misleading students with promise of guarantee position with companies. All corporate is concerned about is the numbers of student enrollments. This school needs to be shut down and not allow to give fake education which leads to high loan debt and interest and you are stuck with that loan like it or not. Department of Education takes the school word about your load, but never anything about delivering what they promised students. This school is a scam, at this point they can only test out the student that are currently enrolled, but what the students don't know is that their national accreditation withJune 24, 2016

Don't take my word for it do your research.
Cons
Corporate dictates everything, promises are made, not kept and then denied citing the contractual fine print. Not regionally accredited! Lives almost entirely off of the government. Has a loan program that they say is not really a loan which sinks students so far in debt, they cannot get out, transcripts are held hostage, credits unlikely to transfer so if you are in an associate degree program where do you go next?? Many students have useless degrees and have to go elsewhere to get a four year degree in many cases starting over.
Advice to Management
Drop your prices, get regionally accredited and become a real college that looks out for the students before the stockholders! Michael L. is gone and that is a good thing, Kevin M. dumped a bunch of his stock after exercising options, time for a change!
Cons
Forcing, coercing, manipulating students to enroll is the unspoken mantra of HQ. Company wide Senior Student Reps were let go almost entirely due to not forcing enough students to enroll. The company has nearly eliminated all full time teaching positions(sans Nursing, most state boards will not allow them too) so adjunct teachers make same teaching 10 students as they get for teaching a section of 30 plus students. Students forced into online classes that came to ITT to get classroom teacher instruction and attention. The Nursing programs are the only thing keeping some of the campus open. The one program that state oversight keeps HQ from gutting the quality.
