....Even if ACICS continues to operate, schools it accredits face plenty of challenges. ITT said in a recent SEC filing that it expects new-student enrollment to drop 45 percent to 60 percent in the next six months, compared with the same period last year. Meanwhile, ACICS is on the verge of deciding whether ITT’s accreditation “should be withdrawn by suspension or otherwise conditioned,” according to the filing. ITT spokeswoman Nicole Elam said the college met with ACICS this month to “demonstrate our compliance with accreditation standards.”

ACICS won't exist in 2 months. Their planned appeal is a waste of time. Every other accreditor already knows ITT is the worst of the worst.

ITT Tech's bean counters have created a myriad of "rules" which are designed to protect revenue at the expense of academic standards. Either ITT Tech has flouted ACICS criteria and ITT Tech is unfit for purpose or the ACICS criteria are unfit for purpose thus ACICS itself is unfit for purpose.

Or perhaps both are true!

ESI is planning a strategy for appeal, if ACICS rules against them. Lawyers and scheming are ESI specialty.

Maybe ESI's claim they are following regulations will be their basis for appeal-- pretending they are blindsided by ACICS or something. . Must be some reason they are sticking to such an outrageous lie.

There is no way in hell ITT is meeting standards unless they are so low they might as well not even exist.
