I have networked some. Consensus on bad jobs seems to be Dow Sadara and ConocoPhillips. Seaton said one was mechanically complete, one was 60% complete. Both Houston jobs. Dow Sadara was major work share with Manila. The job is over but our crap work is stuck like gum to our shoe. We cannot get free. ConocoPhillips was almost all JGC engineering and the payoff was self perform construction. My sources tell me we have major issues. Major as in the impact on future earnings is just starting.

We need more initiatives. And do not forget about the imperatives. Consultants cuz those guys are just so so smart. Add in an entire new set of buzz words along with a complete disregard for experience. Bring in low cost overseas labor and forget all the tough lessons over the years. All this and more in Energy and Chemicals. Cost over runs are just starting to hit home. Execution is total crap. How any fatalities in last year. Bonuses still getting paid.
