I have a PhD in electrical engineering from a midwest university and I have applied for my green card which I should get soon. Is Intel hiring? I am tired of applying on online job portal.

Recommend to stay away at least for now, much better companies to put your PhD to good use.

If you got a green card soon, stay away. If you need a green card and intel to sponser and you are URM and aren't an idiot you get hired. Intel is desperate in every organization to boost their URM so you'll get interview and offer.
Now if you are Chinese or Indian, the situation isn't as good as there are a lot of them here already, but if you got a Vag--a there is still hope.
Just not true whites on average are at bottom end of curvie. The have had color superiority for 400 years they are not giving it up.

Intel has started the Token hiring process. Every gate keeper is white minorties women who are typically up for promotions have a hard time. You better be very bright especially if you are a women.
Never forget ur in a culture that just elected a black President, no women President. Probably no other black president for 50 years. Intel is like rest of America. Still better to be white and stupid then of color/women and smart.
