Accenture laying off the resources even those are working in Accenture more than 5 years and they are not looking their contribution in this tenure. I will suggest please do not join this company, they are giving good hike just for sake of demand fulfillment. Once project over they will fire you.

Government should need to take some action against such companies. They need to introduce some good laws for employee's in India. If employee want to leave the organization, he/she needs to serve 2-3 months notice period as per rule, but if their is any lay off then such rules are not applicable for organization. they simply fire the employees with some advance money. this is really frustrating. Government should need to take action on this.

This is always the way I have felt since joining - Other than your peer group and those you choose to lead better than your MD's lead you, - mostly a very impersonal place and there are far better places to spend your time and build your career.
It's absolutely true but not just limited to (off-shore resources in) India. Layoffs are happening on a regular basis in other global locations as well. They get rid of people as soon as they don't think they need them any longer, irrespective of performance etc.
This is true - it's very unstable - I would be cautious if I was you (if you are planning to start with ACN)
