Just read that Office Depot is closing about 300 more stores. And that is on top of those 40 they closed earlier this year. Does this mean more job for us?

In the long run, it means consolidation. That's what monoplies do.
If OD closes a store and a Staples is nearby, there is a possibility it will save that Staples from closure.
It depends on what other competition is in the area, as well as the lease Staples has, and the cost of logistics to supply the store. On top of that there is the haze of middle management stupidity....Staples may raise that stores sales goals in expectation of gaining the OD customers, while at the same time cutting payroll.
I doubt it...the 300 figure was over 3 years and Staples will likely close as many or more in that time.
