INTEL IOTG Kiss of Death - By Time Will Tell

Apparently, we here (better than INTEL HR, IOTG and CCG idiots, who are trying to spit on us) MUCH better project INTEL future results... Then Executive Management (Bug OFF, morons)!

_How's profitability look?

In the first quarter, Intel's IoT business saw operating profit rise to $123 million, from $87 million in the year prior . This quarter, things didn't look so hot.

Operating income fell to $89 million, down significantly both from the prior quarter and from the year-ago quarter's $145 million. I don't think that Intel is suffering from gross profit margin compression here; instead, it's being hit by a loss of operating leverage. The company has likely increased its research and development spending on IoT year over year, so when revenue doesn't grow as much as planned, operating income suffers._

When has intel sold hundreds of millions of chips for less than 5buck with ultra low power processors and highly integrated radio and sensors.

What Intel is selling is about as real as their microscopes and cameras were to goose PC sales. Another BK plan I'll thought out

Just remember that previously most of the IoT work was actually done by the mobile group (whose losses were later hidden under CCG), which basically did the platform work for Atoms and IoT just put it to a nice package. Now that they've killed the mobile development, there might be 1 billion+ more expenses for the IoT Group...

The most funny thing is that much of the stuff classified as IOT is really x86 stuff bean counted there. True IOT products and revenue don't exist yet and will be late to market and uncompetitive.
