They are placed as leads and manager just to maintain regional dominance in collusion with local HR and PDAC &admin.

When a real leadership/ech challenge or management challenge show up they look towards pune for good resources to tide over the problem.

The targeted pune resources is forced on to bench and then forced to relocate to chennai to work under totally unqualified tameel mngr or lead who after getting the problem resolved denies credit to the pune resource for the work done and then moves the good pune resource back to bench.

Regionalism was rampant in Tameel nadu (,In erst wile madras state as no one expcept tamil were getting jobs , karnatak kerala, andhra pradesh sperated from them).

It spread to maharashtra and became rampant due to sivshena party who spupressed tameel people.

After rapid raise the pune real estate is stagnant as out sider are being harassed, no one is buying

North indians who still buying this pricey pune real estate using black money are backing out as govt cracks down on black money.

95% marathi cant learn any technical stuff like programming, even if they learn they give up with in 3 years to jump to managers position and form syndicates and start business out side and hijack hiring process (money for job placement thro some pune training centers etc).

In next 2-3 years IT sector will disintegrate in pune as it becomes more programming intensive , these folks are making hay while the sunshines .

Ask any marathi mngr to take up challenging assignment he avoids it at any cost if there is no escape he starts searching for a south indian technical lead first so that chances of success are high.

Marathi mgmr dont trust marathi tech lead.

Automotive and manufacturing vertical in pune 99% marathi with only mathi brahmin mngrs.

Even entry of non marathi is barred into this vertical.

Poor telugu guys seem to stuck between the lungiwala tamil and topi wala marathi groups who are running this firm by planting their own people in all leadership roles.

Gulati are most regionlist people in IT - they will push to hire another dumb - idiot lungi wala from AP - who would be his friend, freind's wife or part of circle of gulati .. They shud be kicked out of India also .. they have divided their own state by devisive politics and now diving India .. Stay away from these and kick them out ..

Pune is also moving in same direction and seems to be inching towards the chennai in regionalism and brahmin favouritism.

90% manager in pune are brahmin and marathi only. local guys make false complaints on outsider the HR and PDAC make those issues big.

Refer a good techies with relevant mitr and see how your are ignored if your are non marathi or non gujarati.

a look at the huge no of people belonging telangana and andhra pradesh that were fired from sysntel fed-ex account in march -2015. this show the huge bias towards telugu people who are the most flexible and hard working techies in the company

nearly 90% people fired from fed-ex account were telugu people, even people with H1B approved and H1B approved and stamped could not escape the wrath of prasnth jaare the DM-DDwho carried out ethnic cleansing and garnered huge bonus too

Please stop discussing this with language politics. There is politics in every other IT companies. Ir respective of the good work a manager recognizes his team member only if he/she is from same state where he/she belongs too. This has happened to me many times where the first question manager asks is are you from XYZ state. If I say no he looks as if I have committed a big sin. They even give onsite chance only to people from their own state and stop opportunity for the deserving and skilled team member. If the same scenario continues no doubt India will become a global call center rather than IT hub. Managers please stop discriminating team members based on language, state or province. We all belong to one country don't think each state as country.

it is same scene in all Indian IT cos in chennai including TeeCeeeeS , iINFYee, weepro, etc

Cee tee ess is much worse. here After chennai folks mess up projects good projects are moved from Hyderabad to chennai. (shemless ness).

No ones wants to work in chennai except campus hire frehsers bakra.

non tamil managers find them selves listening to senior manger and other managers speaking in tamil in the meeting in utter lack of professionalism.

Many cos feel cheated after investing in chennai as they fail to attract talent.
