ITT-Tech's 2015 retention and placement data, at both the campus level and program level, as reported to ACICS, now available online. Also nursing licensure exam pass rate. Wonder how long this has been out?
Some numbers for my campus look too high to me! Half the students seem to drop in the first quarter or two at my campus, but "retention rate" in report is 63%. What do you think about your campus numbers?
"ACICS Student Achievement Outcomes and Required Improvement Plans" What is the plan?
...who is required to improve? The students who don't bring pencils to class? Will instructors be required to bring a supply to each class?
Employee portal has new video in Regulatory Affairs section. Its called "ACICS Student Achievement Outcomes and Required Improvement Plans." Gee, someone finally figured out that ITT-Tech is supposed to actually care about that stuff!
This "Campus Accountability Report" was posted in the past week, I am guessing. Probably posted in response to Dept of Ed pressure on ACICS, and ACICS pressure on ITT-Tech.
Now "ACICS Student Achievement Outcomes" is a new links provided by ITT-Tech on their websites --- along with other links that have been there for years, "Important Consumer Information" and "Federal Disclosure."
This info probably should have been posted for years, but ACICS overlooked it.
Wonder if their defaults rates mention the indian call centers they hire to carpet bomb your phone into deferrals?
I went to the Swartz Creek, MI campus. It was a joke. I was never told I was signing up for a "pilot" program. They promised the world. Job placement, 80-90k a year, and life would be great. Ha the lies keep rolling in. When I signed one thing electronic they continued to use that signature to take out loans I never knew about. I was told they were giving me a temporary line of credit for what fed loans didn't cover. They failed to tell me the high interest rates that came with it as well. I wish I never walked into ITT-TECHNICAL. They ruined my life. I never got a job like they said I would. The loans have forced me to file bankruptcy to clear up what I could to pay them. That still didn't work. I've thought about killing myself at times because the debt has become overwhelming. So I write this to warn others to never go to ITT-TECH so they don't become like me. Living with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts is no way to live. Again stay far away from ITT they ruined my life.
