Thread regarding Williams Cos. layoffs

Sorry Fred Pace, no mega bonus for your sitting around doing nothing for the past 2 years!

Fred Pace and all the other VP's, Directors, etc. with no reports ... you will not be getting your big bonus from the merger. We kept you employed at Williams doing nothing for this long ... maybe we can keep you on forever ... we'll just layoff more lower level employees to account for your salaries. And you can pretend like you made your STRETCH goals to also make up for missing out on this bonus.

But Fred P. I don't think we can keep up this charade of you actually doing anything here anymore. John S is incontinent enough.

Work on a game plan, the situation is especially tough if you are over 50 and have a family to support. There is a lot of anger and it is justified, 71% believe the system is rigged for the top one percent. I am going to adapt and tighten my belt, to ride this out.

Greedy SOB''s and 700 families? Did you fall off a horse and hit your head on a fence post? There are thousands of families affected NOW. Go plow a ditch on " Fred's " retirement farm and keep telling yourself everyone else is a a--hole

True, having two senior Vice Presidents of E&C is a waste of money, not even sure they need one, why not get rid of both them and have each vp, report to a svp of operations & E&C. That is where you start making savings for the shareholders and eliminating conflict. This could be done using. Top down review. Same goes for all these new director positions that where just created. Don't like to see anybody lose a job but they need to be fair about the cuts.

The BIG DEAL about Fred P pursuing his life long dream of retiring to a farm ... is that we are still paying him as an employee to retire to his farm. This is money out of everyone who works at Williams pockets and could have saved numerous jobs over the past year. Why does it take 2 years to retire? Because he is helping John S. create a whole new cluster #$%^ ? I think JS is capable and IS micro managing all of this without FP ... either way, we lose and THEY win. Big bonuses for them! Layoffs for us!
