Does APC have a policy of rehiring laid off employees when the industry stabilizes?

There are better companies to work for. Move on and go work for a smaller, less corporate, less political company that actually cares about it's employees rather than the bottom line. Big companies are just that...Big, Bloated, Corporate, Good-Old-Boy networks. It's ALL about politics at APC.

Why go back to APC? After the big layoff you clearly see who are the cocksuckers and that's basically what APC had become a bunch of "cocksuckers." There are no innovators left. The projects are always delayed and over budgeted because of the incompetence and cocklovers running it.

Well, ay least APC keeps a fresh supply of interns to fill the roles of laid off employees.

Sure they got laid off for a reason. Because they are older, black and/or didn't suck enough dick.

All of it? That would leave you with effectively no income while you were off work. Plus expensive health care costs, no life insurance. They must not want people back. F u c k them.

If you read the packet info closely, you CAN be rehired within less than a year. But there is a catch. You have to give back all of your severance money. Yeah right! Who in their sane mind will do that. You are better off moving on to another company and keep your severance. Anadarko is not the same company we all thought that was great to work for.

yeah, but not within the first year or whatever packaged you selected. You aren't eligible for re-hire for 12 months if you took the bigger package. They probably laid you off for a reason though.
