WHAT ABOUT THE ENHANCED SERVANCE CHECK, is that part of the settlement? Can somebody that has connections ask for this as part of the settlement.

There was no guarantee the enhanced severance would be paid no matter what. Only if a change of control occurred before 12/31/16, now highly unlikely. Williams isn't going to sue to get severed employees more severance. Williams needs to turn away from being a family and running like a business. If you got laid off, sorry. Yes, there will be more. Yes, some good will be thrown out with the bad. Way it goes. Here's an idea, stop dwelling on your state of affairs here, blaming management and fretting over whether Fred Pace has a job. If you don't have a job yet, go volunteer somewhere every day, meet new people, make new friends. Who know where that might lead...

The Enhance severance is for if there is a change in control in 2016 and has nothing to do with ETE. Since, the ETE merger fell through and if you were WPZ you should now be praying for Williams to go back to their original plan of rolling up WPZ into WMB. If that happens it is still a change in control and they legally have to pay out the ES to the WPZ. Or you can hope for another long shot that someone else buys them before the end of the year, wouldn't hold my breath either way.
Enhanced severance? I hope you were explained the ES during your exiting with HR. You only get it if a deal between ETE and WMB closes by the end of 2016. Keep hoping it might happen otherwise stop counting those chickens.
