Unfortunately, I have to agree. Heading out for an early lunch. Nobody is here today. I realize the day after a holiday, most want to stretch out the weekend, and some are on holiday, but it's an eerie ghost town today.
WR is a sinking ship. Just a matter of time before the place is just closed down. Its already like a morgue in Alameda office.

My opinion is that it won't be a complete 1:1 gobbling up of WRS by Intel. I'm hesitant to say this because I don't want to worry people, but i do think that some IOT managers and staffers from Intel replace some here. I do see support orgs being looked at - don't know if that means anyone is let go, but there is always that possibility.
I just think that, no matter what happens, it's always better to put out positive energy and vibes. It does make a difference.
txk, do you think merge will be a copy paste of WRS into Intel ?
I don't think this concerns WRS. I really don't.
Focus on the info put out in the workplace concerning integration and timelines. My opinion is that things don't vary much from that.
Things will be ok, no matter what happens. If you feel insecure, you could focus on positive tasks like updating your resume or linked in page than anything else. Positive energy will yield positive results.
