Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

Furniture Installation & Delivery cont...

Word to the wise, 3rd party negotiation have been finalized. My hopes are that everyone has seen the warnings and have prepared accordingly. In a sincere effort for those who have not, can those who are prepared please share your strategy? Displacement is never an easy pill to swallow. It would terrific if we could get some dialogue started here to help those in need.

Please get the word out!

All the very best.

Trucks leases were probably up and needed to be swapped out. When they dropped OP delivery a ton of trucks were sent back to Penske, they'll do the same with the furniture trucks. They could care less about paying out terminating the leases early, they figure they'll still save in laying off all the installers, help, and managers.

Do not ever take responsibility or blame yourselves for the failure of this company. It may be a tough predicament you find yourself in but it's not your fault. The ones to blame are the ones running Staples straight down the toilet.
