As many of you know, layoffs are something that are seen at MIC almost quarterly. Funny though, many never return - must be permanent layoff. They are having to hire outside of Brenham and offer relocation benefits, because they have all of us from Washington county to NEVER work there again.
MIC's recent contracts with Schlumberger are about to be cancelled and all work will be pulled from the shop. This will happen right at the beginning of the third quarter. Then - layoffs once again. React accordingly, they are coming soon.
Management continues to screw up every relationship developed. They finally fired the Sales VP, but didn't fire the GM or CFO. These two continue to alienate every new and talented employee hired (and then fired). This company is owned by John Poindexter who is so very disconnected, he has allowed the current management team to screw up relationships, business, equipment and ever created "former" employees. I met him once, very intelligent and nice guy, but would never just talk with employees - what a loss.
