Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

Can corporate send any more crappy systems to the stores?

Thanks for kronos, ace, and the new chip readers. They all work like crap. It might help if you brought people from the stores into your decisions. I have used kronos at 3 other companies, and they all dropped it. Ace is far more difficult than map, and the chip readers take 5 attempts before they work. GREAT JOB

Every system and program that corporate puts out is half ass It's even part of the commitments. Get to 80% and go (or more like 50%). Kronos is broken at the retail and corporate level but the company is too cheap to invest in additional modules / programming to get it right. As long as it's half working some Joe blow can take credit and get a nice bonus.

Systems are old and sh--ty, but the company won't invest in them. How do we serve our customers with sh--?

That's what every decision is based on in Framingham.
