Thread regarding Education Management Corporation layoffs

Diluted degrees

So after JF destroyed the math program to artificially improve persistence and graduation rates and consequently compromised the integrity of all degrees granted by Ai campuses, regardless of the quality of any artwork, by selling developmental math as college level course work, which was corroborated at the corporate level once a few weasels stepped out of the room, was any of the curriculum changed? If you are an Ai student, anytime since 2012, you should seek legal counsel and band together in class action. There is a good chance you were defrauded. Compare your text and/or syllabus against a developmental math book (high school) and any real college math course.

What about Jason Joy in Pittsburgh? Does that mean anyone who had his class shouldn't be considered having really learned the required math for their degree? I think this would come into question the everything they teach, so in other words the degrees would be worthless!

That is assuming they didn't pull the course(s) out in question. As I heard sometime between 2010-12 one or few of the campuses cut off a few old classes justifying it as "easier to graduate faster with less debt". Most of the classes however were important fundamental classes for all colleges, but were removed due to the "unappealing" nature to students. There was also the fact some campuses have teachers told the students to buy book that they (the teachers) created for the curriculum. If that were the case should we held the faulty accountable or just another of the company's negligence?
