Thread regarding CDK Global Inc. layoffs

Cincinnati is where the whole company is going. Hoffman Estates will close at the end of 2017. I know this from golfing with a top executive.

@I4B0Y78-3Tnxv I think you might be at least partially right. I cannot imagine them shipping implementation or support jobs to India though - it will be years and years before we dont need someone on-site to help install some of our products and I do not think they would fly Indian reps to American dealers to help them get set up. But, I have heard of software engineers and others already training their replacements. It isnt what they are calling it, but we all know what it is. We have already lost a ton of knowledge and expertise, and are about to lose a bunch more. That is why people are feeling so down at CDK. I love that glassdoor comments about BMs speach about leveraging our global workforce. ha. yah, that means 'you are too expensive american employees, so we are going cheap'

per CEO's latest comments, HQ not moving to Cincinnati. All non customer facing jobs moving to India. All customer facing jobs moving to Cincinnati for the next 1-2 years, then those positions moving to India too. Only Sales and Leadership to stay in US and will be based out of Hoffman HQ.

If you actually knew anything you'd know the Hoffman office is right next door to a golf course, and the new location, which isn't actually in Cincinnati but downtown Norwood, which is a suburb of Cincinnati, isn't near a golf course.

I wish there were a way to let CDK clients know what's really happening with this company. It would be a shame to let management get away with throwing clients and (US) associates under the bus just so investors can squeeze every last penny out of the company before they cash in. A most unethical company.

The executives can run to another city, but they can't run from the devastation they have left behind.

I'm sure the new location will be near a golf course, that seems to be what the execs do best.
