New start on Monday for the WyoTechs and today's registration was a huge success. To all the naysayers, what are you gonna say now?

That's funny, start automotive classes in Daytona when they can't get more than 300 students in Blairsville. That would definitely put Blairsville out of business.

Huge is 75 minus 10 =Daytona's start - but fear not!!! The new automotive program starting here "early next year" will clearly boost our numbers to well over 100! Woo fricken hooooo! Haha!

I am happy to report that all three new starts at Daytona are a great fit. One can read, one can write and the other has a clean criminal record. Put the all together and you have the perfect student!

Blairsville WyoTech looks like a ghost town.

With all the RIFS, Laramie and Blairsville need around 600 to break even. Both have been averaging around 300 for over a year and things are not looking much better. September enrollment will be do or die for Blairsville. If they don't reach the magic number for September and beyond it will be the end.

According to our past fearless leaders Daytona needs 180 to break even. Then again it may be 250 because what was said changed every meeting and one could not remember whom they told what story.

Does this include those that can read, write, and actually will be able to make a career from school? Its easy to sell students and military a school location, bars ,drugs and fun. Let us focus on the outcome of our jobs, can we produce a quality student? This my little ones is the hard part. We can not discipline we let the student run the facility for fear or them dropping out. low and behold the education is getting slim also as the resume backgrounds of our teachers is ink that barely dried from the back office. However someone has to tell these new students how much they know and whom better than a you tube teacher.

Sad fact is, Daytona needs 500 students to break even. Laramie and Blaresville are more then double that. There is little hope.

Blairsville's registration lasted just over 2 hours. Had less than 100 register. Population will be around 200 or so.
