This merger appears to be a failure, due to lack of leadership at the very top by both leaders, mostly ETE. They took their eye off the ball and panicked when the price of oil and natural gas tanked. Instead of digging in, they where influenced by short term forces, very near sighted, They ran to court suing each other instead working things out. The market has made a great recovery and prices are where they are when the merger was first announced. All we hear is the doom and gloom and the lack of syngeries. We all know the lack of the syngeries is the inability of the top leaders not able to work together and do what makes the most sense, mainly due to fear and the lack of vision in the great future potential of the oil & gas market. The stock market has rewarded both these companies for what they deserve a major drop in both of their share prices, while there competitions are doing very nicely. Employees have been made scapegoats and fired all the while this has been going on. It will take years for the damage to be fixed, if even possible.

First point we did not ask for Williams to buy us out and then screw us over . It is William's POS Leadership that got you into this mess, not Access.
In the termination papers supplied in April, they though the merger was likely. With all this coming out in court, it is hard to believe that they did not know about this when they provided the termination papers,
Ete is down today. Are we sure the merger has failed? How can anyone be sure right now?
HR and OE must have been involved to screw it up this bad. Glad this wasn't a wet dream.
Hats off to you Armweak and to all your "talented" sh.t for brains moronic corporate managerial good ol'boy's.
The cheerleaders are all ready spinning how great this break up is for Williams, saying they will be better off. Of course they will make money no matter what, because they are in a great business. The denial is
crazy, we did not do anything wrong.
Thanks Alan and all you Access creeps.
It is not dead yet, Williams lawyers will appeal case. Still hope for a servance check, not very likely though.
Another shining example of Williams management's ludicrous definition of their "best practices " in action.
You are absolutely correct. Couldn't have said it any better.
