FMC management is like a cruel mother who puts poison in her child's sweets and the child being the employee believes mother loves them as they go off to sleep.
When we had a union we had a better and more stable life at FMC.
How many of we shareholders were notified of a merger? How many of us were allowed to vote? This was all done in secret. Yes, yes but this time it's different.
Unite or be replaced by an H1B.
Hey y'all "Forgetful". Maybe you and your family should move to Africa and take a job over there. I love my country and want to stay and work here. The only reason that companies send professionals abroad to "LOW COST COUNTRIES" is to show and train the cheap labor force how to do what we do in the U.S. Africa is the next low cost source because China and India are not such a great bargain any longer. We have literally given away all the development and technology the "Great American Workforce" has developed over the last 100 years to the competition.

Those TSPs have mostly come home and we haven't sent the H1Bs we've brought over in exchange back.
Also tsps never outnumbered the locals. I'd like to see you prove that because of the local content laws made sure of that what you lie about was never the case.
If like to see you publish numbers justifying your lies. You'll be gone soon. Between the H1B scam and the merger you'll last a year maybe. The truth is those you defend are not your friends and will fail you in the end. Your loyalty to robber barons who just sold you out in a merger would be funny if it wasn't so pitiful.
I think y'all are forgetting how many FMC Americans are doing jobs in other countries too. There have been more US TSP's and Engineers that were working in Africa for the past 10 or more years then their own locals. it's a Global company...people move around.
H1B visas are the Republicans way of bringing in illegals. We are bringing in people with crackerjack diplomas from abroad while we tell our new grads from America there are no jobs.
The whole system is a scam. H1Bs in the office and illegals in the shops and yards.
People need to wake up before they end up homeless in their own country. Unite or be homeless, your choice.
And it isn't stopping with just the union workers. They are poised to stick it to American salary employees next. Just look at the number of foreign Engineers and other professional workers flooding into this country on H1B work visa's. Union or non-union, as Americans, united we stand and divided we fall.

What do you mean the union has left FMC technologies? Uaw 714 still works in the Erie plant.
FMC was once a Union company. When the union was on FMC property there were Americans doing American jobs making American products. We had pensions, sick time plus vacation days, damn good benefits and cheap too. When the union left, look at what has happened. Managers and executives bonuses inflated as we lost retirement, car allowances, vacation and sick time mergers, we've lost more and more American jobs and now more to come. So if you want to know how the union was useful, just take a stroll down memory lane if you have the capacity to think for more than 60 seconds at a time on one thing. Your executives would sell their own mothers for another percentage added to their bonus. How was your bonus shop hand last year? How about you there service hand? Coordinators? Did you guys buy another Jaguar? or was it a Mercedes with it?
Once that union left we employees just started losing and now look at us, whats left of us.
