"The furniture division at Staples is the strongest it's ever been"

Very naïve. That doesn't mean they won't cut it to shreds and attempt to outsource anything they can.

Haters always gonna hate. The furniture division at Staples is the strongest it's ever been and will continue to grow. Keep up the gossip. Ha.

My guess also is the SDO's will lose their warehouses next to trim the lease fat. Unless they let the 3rd parties operate out of there, it will go to the 3rd parties facility to be delivered and installed. SDO's will be nothing more than sales offices with OP delivery gone and soon furniture. Wouldn't surprise me if they just leave the leases and let the sales staff work remotely which could be done with the VOIP phone systems in place.

Another thought, why keep sales admins and service consultants? They can off shore those functions too!

High up's have been speaking with 3rd party installers for week's now but I know for a fact that negotiations are about complete. Installers be ready for the boom, because it's coming soon.
