I have heard rumors the president of Canadian retail is now reporting to Shira for all North American retail and Otis was demoted to SVP of western division . The divisional structure of US retail was cut to 2, East and West and several SVPs let go, as well as some RVPs.

Phil Spadaro bully
That's exactly what Ron is trying to avoid with this little sacrifice. People have been calling for the consolidation of top management for years. Demoting one SVP and forcing out two others is not enough.
Still to many RVPs, DMs and senior project managers, etc . Same in the non retail divisions.
Ron still needs to go, and the time is right. The stock is in the tank, the buy out failed and the shareholder meeting is right around the corner.
So sad that a great company is being torn apart bit by bit. Maybe it's time to change the top leader before it's too late...just saying....
I agree about Andy sick of his star fish story.
I heard Andy Lewis and Dick are retiring?
It's DeSanto not DeMeo.
I hope it's DeMeo, he may shake things up a bit. DeSanto is only interested in preserving the status quo and protecting his buddies like his son, Vinnie, and Phil.
I heard it was Chris DeMeo and not Mike DeSanto.... So what's the final word???
Damn it. DeSanto is the one I most wanted gone. He is the one that protects the idiots Vinnie Servello and Phil Spadaro.
Desanto is Svp of east.
This re-shuffle is one thing and one thing only...a last ditch attempt by Ron to save face. It's clearly not about money, it's all about being permanently kicked off the island and also laughed at.... I've been laughing at them all for many years now....
We all know why Otis was not fired now don't we.... They have enough on their plate with potential age discrimination that adding race discrimination makes no sense, and after-all Ron became a BIG liberal after making all those mega millions.
Otis demoted is a good thing but they should have fired him too. Just goes to show that treating people like crap does not always work out for the best. He has no "bidness" being in a leadership position.
Hopefully the coming RVP cuts claim Vinnie Servello , another loser.
DeMeo seems super corny on those videos, but he seems like a decent guy. Sounds like a good time to be on the East Coast, as the West Coast will now go to sh--.
SVPs let go is a good thing, yet another layer of upper management is a bad thing. I hope they were laid off.
Does that mean 6+ SVPs were let go or do they now report to DeMeo and Otis?
Can confirm. Chris DeMeo will be shifting down to SVP of East Coast operations
