Thread regarding Kellogg Co. layoffs

KSRs and KMs

In this zone, the KMs are working 47-55 hours per week and driving as 30-45 miles to the first their first service calls. .

KSRs who truly care about their territories are working with KMs to insure they are not working excessive hours. However, in most territories the KSRs are working less hours than the KMs. Some are starting late and finishing early while KMs are working 12 hour days . Store shelves and back rooms are beginning to show the effects of KSRs ordering and not having a hand in any of the day to day product flow.

Store Managers seem confused by the lack of consistency in service calls. Stores are being served by three different KMs per week. So far, it is difficult to see how this will increase sales and control costs. There has been a complete reversal in who puts in the long hours. KMs working twelve hour days while most KSRs are working a lot less.

I don't know where your area is but KSR in California are working 50-60 hrs a week. We have aprox 25-27 stores in 4-8 cities. We making less money than before since we lost Morning foods sales.

My son worked approx 10 to 12 hours a day and was with Kellogg's for 18 years. Yet when they just had a

Lay off he was one who was laid off. He supervised approx 100 employees and never complained.

So much for Kellogg's carrying about their employees.
